Maybe you feel you have a right to be and feel sad. We sure could use a lot more good news now. But despite all that happens around us, happy thoughts, silliness and joy just rise up and make us smile.
Take a moment and try a little exercise I call ‘Smile Awhile’ ……
Exercise:
Sometime when you’re just chillaxing and you close your eyes and drift off into thought…..zzzzz (Ok, wake up it’s just a nap) Now ….. just before you open your eyes it occurs “Hey am I smiling?” If this happens to you, open your eyes, look at yourself, and if you are indeed smiling. Smile more…bigger ..broader.
Hey did ya notice? Your eyes are sparkling too!
This happened to me a few weeks ago, and I found myself feeling rather good and less worried about the day to day. Who knew that jolt of bliss was just below the surface.
